Designed to be used during the year before your child's baptism and confirmation, each mini lesson in this workbook draws on the scriptures and words of apostles and prophets to point children to the Savior Jesus Christ and help them gain a deep understanding of their first covenant. 

Every lesson begins with a simple object lesson or activity to spark kids' interest in the topic. Parents and children then learn together through reading scriptures, discussion, pondering the Savior's example, and questions for kids to ask their parents. Lessons end with suggestions for acting in faith to apply or learn more about the principle.

The workbook includes 47 question-based mini lessons in 8 categories (Covenants and Ordinances, Doctrinal Foundations of Baptism, Baptismal Covenant Commitments, Keeping the Commandments, Repentance and the Sacrament, Becoming a Member of Christ's Church, The Gift of the Holy Ghost, and My Baptism).

Also included are pages for children to write their testimony before and after completing the workbook, make their own study plans, write questions they have about baptism and confirmation, and write or draw their thoughts and experiences from their baptism and confirmation day.
